Concerts, guided tours and performances in the gardens of the Kulturforum

The Berlin Kulturforum is not one of the city's green islands. Nevertheless, it has five little-known gardens: The Philharmonic Garden of the Philharmonie and the Institute for Music Research, the reading garden of the State Library, the sculpture garden of the New National Gallery, the inner gardens of the Museum of Applied Arts and the old Matthäikirchplatz in front of St. Matthäus-Kirche.

As part of the Berlin Cultural Summer Festival, the five gardens will open their doors for a day in the green on the admission-free Sunday of the museums. A summer festival is planned with a diverse programme of concerts, performances, readings, guided tours and a church service.

The summer festival will end at 10 p.m. with the closing concert of the Berlin 2023 Cultural Summer Festival with the electropop duo 2raumwohnung on the terrace of the Neue Nationalgalerie and celebrate the city's shared cultural life together with all visitors.
