Tanz im August asks you to deal with nature and sustainability. The question of how artists and especially international festivals are reacting to the urgency of the climate crisis will be brought to the city by means of an open call.

Into the Berlin parks. From numerous project proposals on the overarching theme of dance and ecology, 22 short choreographies by Berlin artists were selected, which can be experienced on several afternoons in public space in three different courses as part of Tanz im August.
They make it possible to experience with the senses how art, performance and sustainability are connected, for free and outdoors.
