Cicle Gaudí Berlín
Sergio (Mario Casas) travels with his family to Utrecht to attend a soccer game. Before boarding his flight back to Barcelona, he suffers a panic attack and decides to stay in the Netherlands. Unable to give his family a logical explanation, he cuts off all ties to his past.
From that moment on, he must survive without money, without friends, without a place to live, and without speaking the language, until he is able to find himself again.
Mario Casas was awarded the 2025 Gaudí Award for Best Actor.
Following the screening, there will be a Q&A session with the audience, moderated by Olivia López Bremme, accompanied by wine from the Mallorcan winery Ànima Negra and appetizers courtesy of Hotel Gat Point Charlie (GatRooms).
The admission price is €10 and includes the film, the discussion, the aperitif, and all taxes. Tickets are available via the Babylon website.
The Cicle Gaudí in Berlin is organized by the Catalan Film Academy, in collaboration with the Ramon Llull Cultural Institute, with the support of the Mallorcan winery Ànima Negra, the Hotel GatRooms, and the magazine Desbandada, and with the kind support of Babylon.
