Play by Alfred Uhry

Atlanta, 1948: When the eccentric Daisy Werthan (Ute Lubosch), the widow of a wealthy Jewish textile manufacturer, wrecks her car, her insurance company cancels her policy. Miss Daisy's son Boolie (Matthias Freihof) then hires a chauffeur, despite his mother's protests.

A profound comedy about prejudice, religious and generational conflicts, but also about tolerance and friendship.
