Shreefpunk is a working band that combines jazz with avant-garde and punk. They have toured most of Europe, parts of West Africa and Australia.
On their first CD they were supported by Django Bates, and for the next CD they hired a whole big band. In the fall of 2018, their latest CD "Keine Angst vor" was released, on which the band plays music with two string formations at once. Today, Shreefpunk usually performs without drums and without any electronic amplification, i.e. unplugged.
This way, the polyrhythmic charm and pulsating grooves of the original compositions come into their own even better. The core of the band are a trio with trumpet, bass and guitar, and will perform like this in the church.
Dear audience, for energy-saving reasons, St. Peter's Church is heated sparingly during the winter months. Please be prepared for lowered room temperatures. There will be warming sounds, hot drinks and cozy blankets on!
