People from Lübars and the surrounding area are invited to this event for a shared exchange. Whether you're a contemporary witness, a contemporary history buff, or someone new to Lübars, every memory and question will be addressed. A short video will introduce the discussion in small groups. Everyone will discuss the time of division and its impact on Lübars today.
Questions that could be discussed include:
• How did the village change as a result of the division? What conflicts and challenges still exist today?
• Where was the division felt in the village? What contacts were there with East Berlin?
• How did Lübars change after German reunification?
Registration for the event is not required.
