Berlin, November 9, 1989. The traditional family business "Wendenburger Spielkarten" celebrates its 500th anniversary in the Habel am Reichstag. On this occasion, the legendary "Herzdame" from 1489 is to be presented to the public for the first time after the end of the war.

After more than 40 years, the fractious family branches from East and West meet again for the first time, and the old feud threatens to break out again. In an emergency, the main actor of the popular TV series "Comrade Lynx Investigated" is unceremoniously subjected to the criminal investigation into this controversial case.
