Creative gourmet event with breathtaking 3D projection at the Grand Hyatt Berlin

Since last year, the Grand Hyatt Berlin has been inviting guests to a culinary experience in 3D: "Le Petit Chef" moved to Potsdamer Platz in August 2021, where it quickly conquered the hearts of its guests. Now its fans can look forward to the second part of the success story, which launches in the capital on Friday 6 May 2022.

"Le Petit Chef 2" takes its viewers on a completely new form of epicurean journey. Once again, state-of-the-art technology unobtrusively transforms the table into a screen, which this time holds the historical traces of Marco Polo, thus depicting the hiking route of the thumb-sized chef in an optical illusion. Inspired by the different cultures the little chef encounters along the way, the kitchen crew prepares a corresponding 6-course menu on the spot.

Those who have not yet seen the first show of the dinner theatre can visit it until the end of April at the Grand Hyatt Berlin, but each part shows an independent story, which is why a visit to the first show is not absolutely necessary to understand the plot of the second part. Behind the elaborate animations is the Belgian artist collective "Skullmapping", founded in 2010 by Filip Sterckx and Antoon Verbeeck. Using 3D mapping technology and a profound artistic know-how, they brought the 58 mm small chef to life in 2015.

  • The show starts on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
  • Thursdays to Sundays there are two shows each at 17:00 and at 20:30
