We’ll learn about wild and garden herbs and work with dried herbs. We’ll identify plants and learn which parts of the herbs to harvest and when, as well as how to preserve and use them. In the hands-on portion, we’ll create spice blends. Homemade spice blends are a wonderful way to combine cooking, health, and creativity. They have a more intense flavor than store-bought blends, contain no additives, and can be perfectly tailored to any taste. This educational program uniquely combines experience, knowledge, and hands-on work with herbs. The understanding of biological processes gained or deepened through this experience can provide new inspiration for health.
