Klezmer Concert with the German-Czech NACHES TRIO

The Hospital Church in Wuhlgarten invites you to a special musical evening featuring the NACHES TRIO.

To mark the closing of the exhibition “LICHTBLICKE” by the AlteStromer painting group, the German-Czech NACHES TRIO presents traditional Yiddish music from Eastern Europe in a lively and poetic interpretation under the title “Klanglandschaften.”

Deeply rooted in the traditional styles of Klezmer music yet open to improvisation and musical exploration, the three musicians create a sonic space that blends dance-like lightness, pulsating rhythms, and quiet, dreamy moments.

Their music tells of celebrations and longing, of joie de vivre and melancholy—carried by great expressiveness and a joy of playing.

The inspiration for the “Klanglandschaften” program was life close to nature in the countryside as one of the original sources of traditional Klezmer music. Their latest CD, “Village Soundscapes,” also captures this atmosphere, blending traditional melodies with new musical paths.

Violinist Tereza Rejšková, a native of Prague, discovered her love for the violin and Jewish musical tradition as a child. She combines virtuoso playing with great expressiveness and has devoted herself intensively to Klezmer music for many years.

Jeannine Jura studied clarinet in Berlin and has long been involved with traditional Yiddish music. With her clarinet and bass clarinet, she shapes the ensemble’s warm, colorful sound.

Pianist Jonathan Jura received his musical training at the Special School for Music.

In addition to his classical work, his special passion for Klezmer music developed through workshops, including those at Yiddish Summer Weimar.
