The Kiezlabor opens its doors again and places the enchanting Tiny House for digital transformation in one of the most fascinating places in the city - the Tempelhofer Feld!

An energy self-sufficient tiny house was born from an old shipping container - the Kiezlabor!

Over a period of just over two weeks, from August 16th to 27th to be precise, the base will be set up in the southwestern part of the airfield near Tempelhof. The aim is to enliven the field together with the neighboring districts and to celebrate the citizens' festival on August 19th with communal joy. The main topic of the first neighborhood station is the challenges of climate change in urban areas.

There is a diverse program that deals with the challenges of climate change in the urban environment in many ways. Between August 19th and 23rd, the container will also be converted into a cooling center – a place from a potentially warmer future that offers help and protection from the heat. Urban Heat Studios' wandering installation can be admired when you pay us a visit!

Everyone is cordially invited to get to know local initiatives in the field of climate protection and nature conservation as well as the urban gardening movement, to actively participate and to contribute their own ideas. The Tempelhof-Schöneberg Citizens Registration Office will be on site for two days to enter into direct dialogue with the citizens about their work and services.
