Christian Blex is a German conductor who will be a conducting fellow of the Karajan Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra from September 2022. Starting in 2022/23, he will assist Kirill Petrenko because he won the "Siemens Conducting Fellowship" at an audition at the Philharmonie Berlin (together with Oscar Jockel). The two-year scholarship includes assisting the chief conductor in concerts and operas, as well as conducting his own concert projects with the scholarship holders of the Karajan Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic.
