In July 2023, Jonas Kaufmann returns to the Waldbühne with a new programme: accompanied by the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie conducted by Jochen Rieder, he presents Italian arias and duets by Puccini, Leoncavallo and Giordano as well as operetta arias and duets by Franz Lehár and Johann Strauss with the internationally celebrated soprano Rachel Willis-Sørensen. Of course, titles from "La Bohème", "Wiener Blut" and "Das Land des Lächelns" and tenor hits such as "Freunde, das Leben ist lebenswert" and "Dein ist mein ganzes Herz" are not to be missed!
