From March 2024, Joja Wendt will go on tour with his new program. The biographical live show "Play quietly!" presents piano art and entertainment in its most rousing form - but one thing is certain: Joja Wendt will not play any quieter! At his Berlin concert, he tells the story behind the sentence that has accompanied him all his life and why it was exactly right to ignore it.

Joja Wendt is not only a virtuoso pianist, but also a world-class entertainer. His concerts are a unique experience full of perfection, joy of playing, passion and humor - always accompanied by his personal touch and a wink.

As an official Steinway artist, he inspires his audience worldwide and has reached over a billion fans in China alone. In his new program, he provides intimate insights into incredible experiences and stories from his life as an artist for the first time. The title of his autobiography "Play quietly!" also serves as the tongue-in-cheek motto of the tour.

The audience can look forward to a multifaceted live experience:
New compositions and surprising arrangements lead through a wide variety of genres and styles, inspired by magical places and extraordinary encounters.

With his interpretation of "Rhapsody in Blue", Wendt takes you into the dim atmosphere of a dive bar in New Orleans, while with Vivaldi's "Summer" he shows that classical music can also rock. Schubert's Impromptu shines in his creative style, and Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode" is reminiscent of joint performances with the rock 'n' roll legend.

Joja Wendt promises plenty of surprising moments again - and one thing is certain: he will definitely not play quietly!
