KW, unboxed with Raoul Zöllner

The KW Institute for Contemporary Art was founded in post-reunification Berlin. Since then, exhibitions have been set up, announced, displayed and dismantled almost non-stop.

Over the decades, boxes of archive material have piled up, which Jenny Dirksen has made accessible in recent years. Using these fragments of the past, numerous retrospectives can now be reconstructed in order to better understand the present of yesterday.

KW, unboxed invites you to take a look behind the scenes. Using selected archive material, the development of an almost dilapidated factory complex into an internationally recognized institution is depicted, which has also become part of the city's biography through its own history.

Insights into the KW archive with Raoul Zöllner.
