zur Sonderausstellung „Hugo van der Goes. Zwischen Schmerz und Seligkeit“

Hugo van der Goes (c. 1440 - 1482/83) was one of the most important European painters of the early modern period. His monumental, emotionally expressive, but at the same time intimate depictions are among the highlights of their respective collections.


In the first monographic exhibition on this artist, a large part of his works have been brought together. Discover this painter with curators Stephan Kemperdick and Erik Eising.
