Feminist crime fiction as utopia
From July 4 to 6, 2025, the HERland network will bring its literary and political energy to silent green. The feminist collective is committed to increasing the visibility of women in crime fiction.
For three days, the HERland AllStars Literature Festival offers readings, discussions, and exchanges – with renowned authors such as Christine Lehmann, Merle Kröger, Doris Gercke, Monika Geier, and many more.
HERland understands crime fiction as a political tool: Rather than mere suspense, the focus is on literary explorations of power, violence, and social change. The festival creates space for feminist perspectives, utopias, and conversations.
