Paper Dive: Collaged Underwater Worlds from Recycled Paper
This gives rise to an experimental and playful process, an exploration of the things that are already there.
Paper surrounds us all the time, for example as packaging for food and other products. Yet it usually goes unnoticed, which is why we’re taking a closer look at this material here to discover its unique properties, colours, patterns and textures. In this context, every scrap can be valuable.
The focus theme of ‘water’ for this year’s Sustainability Action Days plays a part in this. Water is an essential resource for paper production, including in recycling. Through the creative process, the workshop aims to raise awareness of what is possible with found materials, without the need to produce anything new.
It gives these everyday objects a new meaning and invites participants to experiment together. You’re welcome to bring along any found objects, such as interesting packaging.
