Erich Kästner on his 125th birthday - a cross-section of "utility poetry" for adults
This selection of poems and epigrams shows the wide range of Kästner's colors. Starting with serious, autobiographical texts about the First World War and the emerging period of National Socialism, she leads with poems on the subject of 'mother' and 'children' to the sometimes biting poems that humorously describe people and living conditions from Kästner's years in Berlin.
