Gur Liraz, born in Tel Aviv in 1988, studied at Thelma Yellin High School in Israel and with Peter Bernstein in New York. Initially an active player in the Tel Aviv jazz scene, he moved to Berlin in 2013 and has become an integral part of the rapidly developing Berlin scene.
