Painting and snapshots: With Gerhard Richter, superimpositions of photography and color merge into new images. Which processes are recognizable? In addition to the famous Birkenau cycle, almost 90 other works by the artist from several creative phases will be shown, which Richter has given the National Gallery on permanent loan.



The guided tour in German Sign Language (DGS) will be translated into German spoken language.
