Ensembles of the DSO and cabaret artists from the Schlosspark Theater set off on a joint balancing act - a tour de force between musical nonsense, political cabaret and cultural-philosophical depth.
Host Dieter Hallervorden and orchestra director Thomas Schmidt-Ott have put together a program that stimulates the funny bone and the critical mind in equal measure and nonchalantly breaks down the boundaries between serious music and entertainment. Because of the great success, this time again with Gayle Tufts.
With a keen eye, a lot of humor and sensitivity, Gayle Tufts observes not only her life as an American in Germany, but also her old homeland. The entertainer and singer has made "Denglisch", her very own stage mixture of German and English, her trademark.
Together with the Ensemble Hexagone, they are guaranteed to rock the hall this evening.
