Gardening day at the nature conservation station

The gardening season is slowly starting and the nature conservation station is turning it into an open gardening day to kick off the season!

On Saturday, April 5th, 2024 from 10 a.m., everyone is cordially invited to take the first spadeful of earth together, greet the earthworms, wake the garden from its hibernation and lend a hand.

The team at the nature conservation station is happy to have any helping hand, even if it is only for 1-2 hours. In addition to freshening up the garden, you won't miss out either, because at the plant and seed exchange you can bring young plants, seedlings and seeds and exchange them for new and rare items from the neighborhood.


A varied program is on offer again:

Ornithologist André Eden will take you on a guided tour on the topic of "bird and insect-friendly garden design" and Luisa Wolf will again offer an upcycling workshop where beautiful planters can be made from Tetra Paks and cans. Feel free to bring your own empty Tetra Paks & cans.

Your physical well-being is also taken care of with coffee and cake and the garden experts will certainly give one or two helpful tips for your own greenery on the balcony, the courtyard or in your own garden.
