Hans-Jürgen polishes his car fender until it shines. He’d love to finally find the rest of the car parts so he can put the car back together.
Jacky trains tirelessly and wants to get stronger and stronger. Deep in her heart, she wishes she could sit by the sea in peace someday.
And out there, right outside the door, lives River. He no longer has a Christmas wish. He’s hungry and tries to get by somehow every day. But River has something the others lack: He can see how people are really doing, even if they barely notice him themselves.
