The forest is in danger! All around the world industry, pollution and climate change are threatening this important ecosystem. The workshop teaches about the effects on the Canadian rainforest and makes comparisons to flora and fauna in Germany.

Why do humans need the forest? How can it be managed sustainably? And who benefits from whom? The children give a shape and a voice to the inhabitants of the wood, who are not always visible. "Leave me be!", cries the thousand-year-old cedar. "Go away with your fishnets", hisses the wave in the creek.
