Flamenco dancer Laura la Risa will grace the stage for an atmospheric Spanish evening, accompanied by a selection of her dancers in colorful costumes, along with a singer and guitarist—just like in an Andalusian tablao flamenco.

Laura la Risa—flamenco dancer, choreographer, and teacher—has been a prominent figure in the flamenco scene for over 30 years through her international performances and workshops.
In 1992, she opened Germany’s first children’s flamenco dance school in Berlin. Since 2003, she has regularly taught people with intellectual and mental disabilities.
Since 1994, she has been creating and directing her own flamenco dance theater pieces. In 2003, she founded her own dance company and the non-profit flamenco association la Vasca Flamenca e.V. In 2005, she established the flamenco center a compás in Berlin, where she teaches children, adults, and people with intellectual disabilities.
Laura la Risa advocates for cultural diversity and inclusion. She has organized countless intercultural events for over 30 years.
