Gundermann commemoration days on the 25th anniversary of his death
The guitar duo ONKEL TOM & HUCK was founded in 2002. The two met in the recording studio in the Brückenhaus in Dresden, where Uncle Tom also worked as a sound engineer and recorded demos for various bands.
Here Huck caught his ear with his German-language singer-songwriter songs. Since Uncle Tom was a guitarist and singer with the band CONDOR for several years, he loved handmade German rock music.
That was when Tom and Huck were born. From then on, the two played German-speaking acoustic rock. They value expressive lyrics that blend with their music to create an impressive listening experience. Sometimes they get political, patriotic, thoughtful and above all funny.
The instruments consist of two western guitars, an electric guitar, a tambourine, a bass drum and two vocals. The whole thing is very well received by the audience.
Of course, the two also play well-known songs by Gundermann, Stoppok, City, Metallica, Renft or Led Zeppelin - to which there is always a lot of dancing and partying. An evening not soon forgotten. You go home with the feeling of having spent a really nice evening.
