A visit to the German Historical Museum is particularly worthwhile on November 11th and 12th, 2023: Under the motto “Encouragement”, the DHM invites you to an admission-free weekend in the current exhibition “Wolf Biermann. A lyricist and songwriter in Germany”.

On both days, museum guests can expect a varied program of guided tours, films, discussions, city walks and music.
To kick things off, there will be a conversation with Wolf Biermann and Torch on Saturday, November 11th at 12 p.m., moderated by Liane von Billerbeck (Deutschlandradio Kultur).
Another highlight is a concert by the jazz duo Uli Gumpert and Günter Baby Sommer on Saturday at 6 p.m. In addition, the DHM is presenting a film program on both days in cooperation with the Federal Agency for Civic Education and the German Cinematheque.
