The Gourmet Festival

From 19 February to 1 March 2026, eat! berlin will be bringing special concepts to the capital. Three restaurants from the portfolio are part of the programme and will be showcasing the breadth of contemporary cuisine in a variety of formats.

The gourmet festival eat! berlin 2026 will open with ‘The Number in the BEAST’ at BEAST Berlin on Alexanderplatz.
Christian Lohse, who led the now-closed top Berlin restaurant Fischers Fritz to two Michelin stars, will be back in the kitchen for this special evening.

Together with Philipp Bergk, head chef at The BEAST, he will create an exclusive 5-course menu for the festival opening. Bergk brings a modern, internationally inspired signature style to the table, while Lohse contributes his classic French culinary tradition and technical expertise. The dinner will be accompanied by wines from the Nahe region with Sylvain Taurisson-Diel (VDP.Schlossgut Diel) and Rebecca Crusius (VDP.Weingut Dr. Crusius).

Thursday, 19 February, doors open at 6.30 p.m., start at 7 p.m., 5-course menu with wine pairing for £139 per person at BEAST Berlin, Karl-Liebknecht-Straße 29, 10178 Berlin. Tickets

‘Delicious cinema’ at the Astor Film Lounge

The Astor Film Lounge on Kurfürstendamm combines eat! Berlin film art with modern haute cuisine. While ‘Burnt’ starring Bradley Cooper plays on the big screen, Nikodemus Berger, Berlin's youngest Michelin-starred chef from the vegan Bonvivant Cocktail Bistro, serves a contemporary vegan menu. The culinary cinema experience is accompanied by selected wines from the VDP.Weingut Stigler winery in Ihringen am Kaiserstuhl. Film critic Knut Elstermann provides entertaining background information on the film and the culinary production, which was created with the help of none other than Gordon Ramsay.

Sun, 22 February, doors open at 11:30 a.m., start at 12 noon, 4-course menu including film screening for €99 per person at the Astor Film Lounge, Kurfürstendamm 225, 10719 Berlin, tickets

BUTT BEI DIE FISCHE at Fischer & Lustig

When cuisine meets humour, things get particularly entertaining at Fischer & Lustig: for this food festival event, two chefs, Holger Mootz and Marcel Kube, will be at the stove, combining technical precision and down-to-earthness. Mootz brings decades of culinary experience to the table, while Kube – awarded a Michelin star – stands for subtle understatement and clear flavours. Between courses, author and comedian Manuel Butt takes the microphone and provides punchlines with dry humour that are as spot on as the degree of doneness on the plate. The evening will be accompanied by wines from the VDP.Weingut Max Müller I winery in Franconia, moderated by Sven Oswald (radioeins/rbb), who will guide the evening in a relaxed and enjoyable manner.
A format that shows how well wine, wordplay and good food go together.

Thursday, 26 February, doors open at 6.30 pm, start at 7 pm, 5-course menu with accompanying wines for £139 per person at Fischer & Lustig, Poststraße 26, 10178 Berlin, tickets
