The Festival for unheard and crooked sounds celebrates a big birthday

Down by the River is back for its 15th edition! The “Festival of Unheard-of and Off-Key Sounds” is celebrating a milestone birthday! And once again, it invites you to a laid-back summer day of fun in Berlin’s coziest club garden.

This milestone anniversary is accompanied by a well-rounded live program. With rough edges and sharp corners. With wide-ranging arcs and closing circles. Longtime festival friends perform alongside new favorite bands. Rough guitars give way to playful electronics. Hypnotic grooves meet brash, demolition-style beats; profound lyricism meets unvarnished honesty. There’s endearing sloppiness, quirky theatricality, and energetic explosions. Plus: a cosmic sound installation.

So, come on over to the garden and join us in celebrating 15 years of DBTR! You can bring your family. No gifts necessary. Instead: open ears and a party mood!
