The concept of the “diva” is put to the test—honored, examined, and at times lovingly satirized. Is a diva still a diva if she sings barefoot? Do true divas still exist today, and if so, where can they be found? What are the requirements for a diva career—and is it open to men as well? All these questions will be explored.
