Since their foundation in 1992 by Gerhard Gundermann, ‘Die Seilschaft’ have long since established themselves as a permanent fixture in the German music scene. Their songs are often described as ‘balm for the soul’, regardless of whether they are gentle melodies or rousing rock numbers.

Die Seilschaft stands for honest and powerful music that touches the hearts of listeners with profound German lyrics. Inspired by legends such as Bruce Springsteen and characterised by folk influences, the band creates a unique live atmosphere that captivates the audience.
With their unmistakable variety of sounds and stage presence, the band is now going on tour with the programme ‘Balsam and Ballads’, placing a special focus on the quieter pieces in their extensive repertoire.
With this mixture of calm ballads and energetic rock, Christian Haase (vocals), Mario Ferraro (guitar), Michael Nass (piano), Andreas Wieczorek (saxophone), Christoph Frenz (bass) and Tina Powileit (drums) create an atmosphere of community in which the listener feels understood and connected.
