Scenes from the screenplay “Sophie Scholl – The Last Days” is a moving and lasting lesson in documentary-psychographic theater. A young woman stands up for her ideals in a society where law is not the same as justice.
Nadine Aßmann presents a Sophie who is full of dreams, but by no means closes her eyes to reality. The viewer experiences Jesse Garon as a Moor as a cold, calculating system servant. The audience placed around the interrogation table also experiences an intimate closeness to the protagonists and the events.
