Contemplate and reflect - take a break from the hustle and bustle of Christmas for a moment!
On the 3rd Sunday of Advent, 17 December at 5.00 pm, the annual Christmas concert of the Kammersymphonie Berlin will take place in one of Berlin's most beautiful churches in cooperation with the children's and youth voices of the Deutsche Oper chorus. This year, Johann Sebastian Bach's "Christmas Oratorio" I-III will be performed, a musical feast for the whole family.
Let yourself be inspired by his famous motto: "Jauchzet, frohlocket, auf, preiset die Tage, rühmet, was heute der Höchste getan! Lasset das Zagen, verbannet die Klage, stimmet voll Jauchzen und Fröhlichkeit an! / Rejoice, rejoice, arise, praise the days, praise what the Most High has done today! Leave your fears behind, banish your lamentations, sing with joy and gladness!" and experience a wonderful way to get in the mood for Christmas at the Apostel-Paulus-Kirche Schöneberg in Berlin.
