Carillon concert at the Parochial Church. From spring there will again be monthly open-air concerts of the carillon. Carillonneur at Parochial is. Anna Kasprzycka, sound engineer from Gdansk in Poland. She is known for her first performances of works by contemporary Polish composers.

The Parochial Church was one of the first new churches built after the Reformation. Until its destruction in World War II, it was one of the most famous churches in the city, mainly because of its distinctive tower and the famous carillon with 37 bells.

The new carillon with 52 bells was inaugurated 2016. The total weight is 8,400 kg. The largest bell weighs 1,490 kg. The smallest 8 kg. Range from d1-e1, chromatic to d5.

The regular carillon is heard daily at 9 a.m., 12 p.m., 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.
