While berlin modern,
a new museum by Herzog & de Meuron is currently being built at the
heart of the ensemble, a lot is also happening with the existing
buildings:
Mies van der Rohe’s final project – the Neue Nationalgalerie –
is now open to the public again after an excellent refurbishment and
the Staatsbibliothek is also being reorganised. Starting from urban
utopias, organic architecture and the debate about a barn, you will
experience the architecture of the most important cultural buildings of
the post-war period and how they are being brought into the future.
