Body Performance

Interactive 360° guided tour through the exhibition

In the exhibition "Body Performance" at the Helmut Newton Foundation in Berlin's Museum of Photography, works by Vanessa Beecroft, Yang Fudong, Inez & Vinoodh, Jürgen Klauke, Robert Longo, Robert Mapplethorpe, Helmut Newton, Barbara Probst, Viviane Sassen, Cindy Sherman, Bernd Uhlig and Erwin Wurm were on display.

This group exhibition was the first to bring together photo sequences whose origins lie in performances, dance and stage events, supplemented by paraphrased street photography and conceptual image series. The focus is always on the human being and his or her body, and the photographer has documented or interpreted, often even initiated, the respective action.

Interactive 360° guided tour through the exhibition

The virtual reality film with the English-language audio commentary by curator Matthias Harder enables an interactive tour through the exhibition.

The film can be individually controlled via trackpad or mouse or via the touchscreen of a smartphone. The six exhibition rooms can thus be explored in a panoramic view.
