Their new album "Chronicles Of A Diamond" is even wilder, more experimental and bolder than its predecessor and reflects the Black Pumas' unbridled creativity and limitless vision. The ten songs take the listener on unexpected musical journeys and undoubtedly establish Burton and Quesada as a legendary songwriting duo. During production, they relied on their intuitive understanding and took their craftsmanship to a completely new level.

When Black Pumas released their self-titled debut album in 2019, they already received enthusiastic responses that were just as passionate and intoxicating as their music.

In addition to an impressive seven Grammy Award nominations, including Best New Artist and Album of the Year, singer/songwriter Eric Burton and guitarist/producer Adrian Quesada achieved notable success, particularly as a live act.

This rapid rise significantly increases the expectations for their second album. The Black Pumas were aware of this when they went into the studio. So they decided to set aside any expectations and start from scratch. As a result, the band expanded their musical range significantly, exploring ethereal fusions of soul and symphonic pop, exhilarating forays into jazz-funk and psychedelia, and love songs with hints of stardust that felt like they came from the far reaches of the cosmos.

With "Chronicles Of A Diamond" the Black Pumas have created a second masterpiece. In March they are coming to Berlin to present it live on stage.
