AWA Theater
In 2017, the young women Halima Baran Hashemi and Frishteh Sadati founded the theater company AWA in order to finally be able to dance and act without fear of persecution. The group consists of ten actors and arose from the idea of combining personal experiences and solidarity through performances. The name "AWA" means "speak in chorus" and symbolizes the collective work of the group.
