100 years of Westhafen
The Westhafen is turning 100, wants to celebrate with everyone! Between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., the Berlin port gates will open for all port friends, families and other interested parties.
- Historical and modern ships and railways will be on display.
- There will be exciting guided tours through and over the Westhafen.
- The longest highline in Berlin (300 metres) will be set up between the towers of the buildings at a height of 40 metres.
- Visitors can learn about the work in the Westhafen and the people behind BEHALA.
- For relaxation there is the beach area.
- Children and families are also invited to celebrate 100 years of Westhafen, whether at the pipe regatta, climbing crates or relaxing at the bookmobile.
On its harbour birthday, with historic railways, ships, all kinds of attractions, good food and exhibitions, its 100 years of history will be celebrated exuberantly.
