Film archives and contact sheets: The “Zinnober” group was the first independent theater troupe in the GDR. In conversation, founding member Steffen Reck and curator Claus Löser outline the group’s development, from the 1982 puppet play *Die Jäger des verlorenen Verstandes* to the legendary 1985 production *traum haft*.
