The exhibition presents a series of abstract paintings exploring the relationship between internal and external processes of transformation. The works open up a metaphysical space and negotiate the structure between humans, earth and spirituality, inspired by Sufi thinking and Qur'anic references.
Yasmine Amal is a self-taught artist, born in Germany to Moroccan parents, who lives and works between Berlin and Casablanca. Her practice is informed by Amazigh knowledge, intuitive processes and a strong connection to nature and spirituality.
