In this exclusive online presentation of the Photo-Graphic Cabinet, the Stadtmuseum Berlin shows drawings and prints related to the becoming of Greater Berlin in the 1920s.

The selection of views presented from the Graphic Collection spans the period from 1912 to the late 1920s, when the newly formed metropolis had consolidated itself. Created by 35 artists, the motifs almost without exception show places and situations from the surrounding area, which was incorporated in 1920.
They document the upswing that gripped Berlin as the capital of the young Weimar Republic.
