Wry/secondo strato_anatomia dell'inganno (Wry/second layer_anatomy of deception)
Wry/ is a work about deception. The word "Wry" implies the concept of the distorted, twisted, ambiguous. The action takes place in a geometrically delineated space, reminiscent of places without reference points in dreams. In a sequence of actions, the dancers interpret different aspects of a single person and relive the moments when the deception began. It is impossible to return to that moment. To get out of this twisted game, there will be a ritually execution. It is painful because it is self-inflicted, but decisive.
This project is meant to be an incision in the surface for an inner panorama. A deeper layer where illusory and deceptive aspects meet bones, veins, muscles and nerves that tend to recompose, on the way to the possible emergence of a deception.
With this piece the artist wants to sublimate the twisted, the deviant from the ordinary, from the "right". The body as a witness of time, as an instrument that tries to shape the fears that animate us.
