Franziska Troegner & Edgar Harter lesen Ristock & Ensikat
Two times two is five. How did the THISTLE come up with this equation? Multiply the texts of the two most famous DISTEL authors by two cabaret veterans! Franziska Troegner and Edgar Harter play, read and sing texts by Inge Ristock and Peter Ensikat in our studio anniversary program. Razor-sharp scenes from a time when a turning point was simply called "the turning point".
Numbers from three decades that have lost none of their wit and topicality, but sometimes even prophesy into the present day. Stories from real life, accompanied by the life stories of Troegner and Harter. But who is the ominous number five in this cabaret dream team? And why is there a piano on the stage at this reading?
Secure your tickets now and be part of this satirical five-fold boom! A DISTEL must-see in the anniversary year.
Inge Ristock (* 1942, ✝︎ 2019) was best known as an author and copywriter for DISTEL and wrote numerous satirical texts, songs and sketches for various stage productions. She worked closely with Peter Ensikat and co-wrote plays for cabaret with him.
Peter Ensikat (* 1941, ✝︎ 2013) was not only on stage, but also wrote books, radio plays and screenplays for film and television. From 1999 to 2004 he was artistic director of DISTEL.
Both, Ristock and Ensikat, significantly determined the artistic profile of DISTEL for many years after reunification.
This show is only played in German.
