to the special exhibition "Secessions. Klimt, Liebermann, Stuck" (until 22.10.2023)
In 1892 in Munich, 1897 in Vienna and 1899 in Berlin, self-organized exhibition forms were formed by artists that questioned official art politics. With Stuck, Klimt and Liebermann, the series presents the figureheads of the movements. With the aim of historical classification, the development of the Paris Salon in the 1820s and the "Young Poland" group from 1890 to 1919 are also presented.
