The young composer Benjamin Attahir, born in 1989 in Toulouse, who studied with Marc-André Dalbavie and Pierre Boulez, among others, presents himself with a new violin concerto, which will be premiered.
It will be accompanied by works by two composers who, at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, were very much concerned with the renewal of music: Claude Debussy and Igor Stravinsky, who gave the large orchestra extraordinary sound colors and combinations - with the effect that much of it indeed seemed new and never heard before.
