Everyone should experience a summer in Berlin! A dip in the cool waters of the idyllic Berlin lakes, relaxing in the park, or enjoying an ice cream in the most beautiful cafés - there are numerous activities in the capital that sweeten the summer. If you want to connect everything, we have the best tips here for dining right by the water. Many of our favourite restaurants on the waterfront are open again, in compliance with the regulations. In many cases a reservation is necessary before your visit to guarantee the minimum distance between guests. This can be done by telephone or on the restaurants' websites. In Alte Liebe, a restaurant ship on the Lower Havel, you can enjoy delicious fish dishes right on the water. This restaurant was established in 1912. In 2015,the Alte Liebe was turned 90 degrees so that every table has a fabulous view of the water.

If you are lucky, you might even meet some celebrities here. Spindler & Klatt is incidentally not only a restaurant, but also has a club area. It usually opens its doors at 11pm on weekends.
