Prince Charles
Celebrating in the former Bechstein swimming pool
The Prince Charles on Moritzplatz is known both for its exclusive special nights and its casual club atmosphere. Today, people dance until the early hours of the morning in the pool of the former Bechstein factory. International house music, hip-hop parties and all kinds of other cultural events make the Prince Charles a favourite on the Kreuzberg nightlife scene.
A symbiosis of bar and club against a historic backdrop
The dance floor is located in the former staff swimming pool, high windows lend the room grandeur, while the lighting concept emphasises its industrial charm. The outdoor area is also impressive with its elegant wooden furniture. Looking up, you can see a green backyard garden – so it's no wonder that so many guests regularly gather here. But in addition to its outstanding appearance, Prince Charles also has a lot to offer musically. In addition to renowned DJs and crossover acts, themed nights in particular attract a sophisticated party crowd to Moritzplatz.
Cultural events from morning to night
The spirit of the former piano factory is still palpable at Prince Charles, lending the place an old Berlin elegance. Not least because of this ever-present creative spirit, numerous cultural events take place here alongside the nights of partying. Readings, conferences, exhibitions and workshops are just as much a part of the agenda as electronic music and a well-stocked cocktail menu.
