He received his last Oscar in 2016 for Tarantino's "The Hateful 8." Morricone achieved immortality almost 50 years ago with his score for "Once Upon a Time in the West." His compositions for the Spaghetti Western classic "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly," Roland Joffé's drama "The Mission," and Giuseppe Tornatore's film "Cinema Paradiso" are particularly well-known.


His fans can experience Morricone's unforgettable works live in Berlin. The large ensemble of soloists, musicians, and chorus of the Milano Festival Opera, under the direction of renowned conductor Marco Seco, will take to the stage and bring Morricone's captivating music to life.
